How it works

How Does Maxforce Work? Its Ingredients and Their Roles

Quick answer

Maxforce combines nine ingredients with traditional uses in one daily gummy.

The label names vitality, drive and performance. Each ingredient is in the blend for a traditional or lab-based reason.

See what to expect over time.

What it claims01

What does Maxforce say it does?

The tub says "May Support: Vitality*, Drive*, Performance*" under the words "Male Enhancement Gummies". The asterisk leads to the FDA statement that the claims have not been evaluated.

That is deliberately soft wording. A supplement may describe how a nutrient affects the structure or function of the body, but it may not say it treats a disease, and it must carry the statement that FDA has not evaluated it (FDA, Using Dietary Supplements). So the label never says "erectile dysfunction".

The sales page goes further. It says the gummies "naturally and effectively support sexual health", "increase vitality and energy to tackle daily challenges" and "promote healthy blood circulation to support cardiovascular function". The FTC expects a health claim like these to rest on good human trials of the product itself (FTC, Health Products Compliance Guidance). None is cited. The claims versus evidence page sets each line against the sources.

The ingredients02

How are the Maxforce ingredients supposed to work?

Each ingredient has a traditional or lab-based reason for being in a male-health formula. None of those reasons has been shown to work in this gummy.

Reputation versus what has been tested
IngredientWhy it is in such formulasWhat has been tested
Muira puamaLong reputation as a male tonicClinical evidence limited; no suitable dose (Drugs.com, Muira puama)
MacaAndean root eaten for energyA few small human trials (MSK, Maca)
CatuabaFolk tonic for fatigueLab and rodent work only (Antioxidant, anticholinesterase and antifatigue effects of Trichilia catigua (BMC CAM, 2018))
Green tea and caffeineAlertnessStimulant effects; not a sexual-function ingredient (NCCIH, Green Tea)
AshwagandhaAdaptogen for stressModest data for stress and sleep (NIH ODS, Ashwagandha)
L-arginineRaw material for nitric oxide, which relaxes blood vesselsMayo Clinic: might help ED with a physical cause (Mayo Clinic, L-arginine)
TribulusFolk tonicMixed results on testosterone (MSK, Tribulus terrestris)
Horny goat weedTraditional aphrodisiacAnimal and lab work (Drugs.com, Horny goat weed)

The pattern is clear, and it is the one a careful reader should expect from a traditional-herb blend. Most of the blend is borrowed reputation. The one line with a modern clinical note, L-arginine, is also the line most likely to interact with common heart medicines.

The dose problem03

Can a 5 mg slice of a gummy do what a study did?

Probably not in the way the studies describe. Studies used doses hundreds or thousands of times larger than a gummy can hold.

Sports studies of L-arginine used 2 to 20 grams a day (NIH ODS, Exercise & Athletic Performance). A gummy holds at most 5 milligrams of it, which is 0.25% of the lowest study dose. Ashwagandha trials used 240 to 1,250 mg of extract (NIH ODS, Ashwagandha), and one gummy holds at most 5 mg.

Caffeine in one gummy: 5 mg. That is about one eightieth of the 400 mg a day that FDA cites for most healthy adults (FDA, Caffeine: how much is too much?).

0 mg5 mg in one gummy (printed)400 mg: FDA figure

Caffeine is the one line where the gummy supplies a real, measurable amount, and 5 mg is small. FDA cites 400 mg a day as the level not generally linked to harm in healthy adults (FDA, Caffeine: how much is too much?).

The evidence gap04

Has anyone tested Maxforce gummies?

No published trial of Maxforce gummies exists that we could find. Nothing in the sales page, the label or the brand's materials cites one.

Without a trial of the product, a reader has to lean on indirect evidence. That leaves three kinds of it, in falling order of weight. Human trials of single ingredients are the strongest, but they used different amounts and forms. Animal and lab work is weaker. Traditional use is the weakest, because it records what people did, not what worked.

  • If you have erectile dysfunction, the cause matters more than any gummy. It can come from heart and blood-vessel disease, diabetes, low testosterone, medicines, stress or alcohol (NIDDK, ED symptoms and causes).
  • It can be an early sign of heart disease, often three to five years before other symptoms (Mayo Clinic News Network, ED and heart disease). A doctor visit is the right first step, and a gummy is not a substitute for one.
  • Supplements sold for sexual enhancement are sometimes found to contain hidden prescription drugs (FDA, Tainted sexual enhancement products). We have no lab report for Maxforce.

A fair test05

What would prove that Maxforce works?

A randomized, controlled trial in men, using the same gummy at the same dose, with a placebo group and a stated measure such as an erection-quality questionnaire.

FTC guidance says health claims should rest on that kind of evidence, and that testimonials or animal studies alone are not enough (FTC, Health Products Compliance Guidance). A disclaimer such as "these statements have not been evaluated" does not repair a claim that lacks it.

Until a trial like that exists, the honest summary is short: the ingredients have reputations, the doses are tiny or hidden, and the outcome is unknown. If you try the gummies anyway, track how you feel and talk to your doctor before day 60.

Brand images06

What do the brand's product pictures show?

They show the tub, six ingredient tiles and a bowl of white powder. They are advertising, not evidence.

Brand product images

Roots, berries and cinnamon are props from the brand's art; the label lists no such ingredients

The graphic shows six ingredients; the label lists nine

An unlabelled powder photo from the brand's set; it names no ingredient, so this site does not either

Product images from the brand. Props and powders are decoration; only the label lists ingredients. (Maxforce sales page)

The roots, berries and cinnamon around the tub are props. The six-tile graphic lists six ingredients, while the label lists nine, so it is incomplete. The bowl of powder is not named by the brand, so we do not name it either.

FAQ07

Maxforce questions people ask

What does Maxforce do?

Maxforce is marketed as gummies that may support vitality, drive and performance. The label makes no disease claim, and FDA has not evaluated it. What the gummy actually does in your body has not been tested, so its effects are unknown.

What is Maxforce used for?

People buy it hoping to support sexual health and energy. The sales page also mentions circulation and blood sugar, which the label does not. It is not a treatment for erectile dysfunction, and a doctor should look at ED, since it can signal heart disease.

Does Maxforce affect testosterone?

The label makes no testosterone claim, and it lists no hormone. Tribulus and ashwagandha are sometimes sold that way, but human results are mixed, and they hold at most 5 mg each per gummy. We make no testosterone claim for the product.

Do Maxforce gummies work like Viagra?

No. Viagra is a prescription drug with tested doses. Maxforce is a supplement with an 82 mg blend and no published trial. Mixing them is a question for your doctor, because L-arginine can lower blood pressure too far with sildenafil.

Is the caffeine in Maxforce a stimulant?

Yes, but a mild one: 5 mg is about one eightieth of the 400 mg a day FDA cites for healthy adults. Green tea extract adds a little more. People who react strongly to caffeine may still notice it, especially late in the day.

Does Maxforce work right away?

No timing is promised on the label, and no trial gives one. We publish no customer quotes about timing, because none is verified. If you see nothing, remember that the money-back window is 60 days from purchase.
